Our Environmental Policy

HANKS GLOBAL LTD recognizes the influence it can have upon the built and natural environments, and its responsibility to act in a sustainable manner. We make it our mission to continually improve our environmental performance and to contribute to the regeneration of the built environment through our construction projects. We will:-

• Comply with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) environmentallegislation and maintain statutory records;

• Assessthe environmental aspects and impacts associated with our construction and manufacturing sites, including the potential for pollution and the emission of gasses harmful to the environment, and minimise these through good management and physical controls;

• Implement site waste management plans for all construction sitesin accordance with the Waste system; maximize the re-use of construction materials and minimize waste to landfill;

• Minimize noise, vibration, dust and other nuisances, including appropriate traffic management measures; and maintain our partner membership of the Considerate Constructors Scheme, monitoraudit results and seek to improve year on.

The Environmental Protection Agency, is an agency of Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, established by EPA Act 490 and is the leading public body for protecting and improving the environment in Ghana.
